User Agreement
This agreement applies to your use of the MomentLog app, account, AI features, and subscription services.
1. Accepting this agreement
By choosing a sign-in method and continuing, you agree to this User Agreement and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may close the sign-in window and continue using on-device recording that does not require an account.
2. Account and acceptable use
You must provide valid account information, protect your credentials, and take responsibility for activity under your account. You may not use MomentLog to violate another person's privacy, intellectual property, or other legal rights, or process content you are not authorized to use.
3. AI features and third-party processing
AI Summary, transcription, and Recaps are optional. MomentLog sends audio from journals you choose to analyze, plus necessary context such as recording time, project, mission day, location label, and time zone, to Alibaba Cloud DashScope / Qwen, a third-party AI provider, for transcription, titles, summaries, and Recaps. Video frames are not sent.
AI also processes transcript text, project descriptions, hotwords, and summary styles. Recaps process existing titles, summaries, and relevant context; Team Recaps also process member display names and Team Recap Style. MomentLog temporary storage and provider retention follow different rules. Provider processing, training-use restrictions, retention, and deletion limits are explained in section 2 of the Privacy Policy.
By choosing a sign-in method and continuing with an account, you confirm that you have read and agree to this AI data processing. Automatic AI is on by default. If you previously turned it off, that choice is preserved. While it is on, saving an eligible new journal automatically submits its audio for AI analysis. You can turn it off at any time in Settings to stop future automatic submissions. Manual AI submits a journal only when you choose to analyze it. AI output can be inaccurate and should be reviewed before you rely on or share it.
4. Your content and limited license
You retain your rights in your content. You grant us only the limited permission needed to provide the account sync, AI, Recap, support, and cloud-video features you choose. The Privacy Policy explains the data, providers, retention periods, and deletion options.
Saving a journal to a Team Project or sharing it with a Team lets members with valid access view shared content and download videos on demand; share only content you are entitled to provide. The Team owner can see names and email addresses needed for membership management, but does not thereby gain access to all private journals. Leaving or removal from a Team ends new shared access; the read-access window for cloud-shared videos and AI content currently lasts 7 days after the relevant subscription entitlement ends. Previously issued temporary links may remain usable until expiry. Downloaded or exported copies cannot be remotely retrieved, and leaving a Team or deleting your account does not automatically delete them from other members’ devices. See section 3 of the Privacy Policy for details.
5. Subscriptions
Paid subscriptions are billed by Apple's App Store and renew automatically unless canceled under Apple's rules before the current period ends. The purchase page and App Store control the displayed price, period, trial, and benefits. Refunds and subscription management follow Apple's applicable rules.
6. Service limits
We use reasonable efforts to maintain the service, but do not promise uninterrupted availability or accurate AI output. To the extent permitted by law, MomentLog is provided as available. Nothing here excludes consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
7. Ending use and deleting an account
You may stop using MomentLog or request account deletion in the app. We may restrict or end access for a serious violation of this agreement or harm to the service or others. The Privacy Policy and in-app deletion notice control the deletion scope and timing. Deleting an account does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription.
8. Updates and contact
We may update this agreement when the product, providers, or legal obligations change. Material changes will be communicated on this page or appropriately in the app. Contact contact@twincurrentstudio.com with questions.
9. Apple app license
The software license for the MomentLog app obtained through the Apple App Store is governed by Apple’s standard End User License Agreement (EULA). This User Agreement supplements that license with rules for using MomentLog accounts, AI, cloud storage, Team, and subscription services; it does not replace Apple’s standard EULA.
